I am committed to the ethical principles of the BACP – particularly continuing professional development and confidentiality. I receive clinical supervision each month to ensure I practice safely and continue to develop my skills.

I am registered with the Information Commissioner as a Data Controller. All my client records are kept in accordance with current regulations.

My approach to therapy is Integrative – which means that I treat each client as an individual and apply whichever methods are most appropriate to a client’s needs. I am non-directive, supporting my client in working through key issues without advice or judgement. I do believe that providing clients with information about the workings of the mind and (where appropriate) psychological theories is empowering and helpful.

I carry professional indemnity insurance in respect of my counselling activities.
